MYOFASCIAL RELEASE & YIN YOGA
SUNDAY 17TH OF NOVEMBER 10 A.M -12
Deepen more into the self-healing of myofascial release and Yin Yoga with Marieke Vliegen, Yinspiration Trainer and Senior Assistant of Jo Phee. Marieke will guide you through this workshop with all her knowledge about myofascial release and Yin Yoga.
Back pain, shoulder pain, tight hamstrings, yoga therapy balls are a self-massage using balls to release tension and tightness into the deeper tissues of the body.
Myofascial release is a technique that involves applying gentle pressure on to the myofascial connective tissue restrictions, knots in the body, in order to reduce or eliminate pain and restore motion.
We combine the pressure of therapy balls with yin yoga poses to help balance the flow of energy, chi. In yin yoga, we hold poses for minutes at a time to stretch & compress the deeper tissues, fascia, in the body. Combining Myofascial techniques & yin poses will open the body and increase blood & energy flow which promotes freedom of movement, causing feelings of relief & relaxation.
During this session, we will also focus on the meridians
This morning will not only help you to sink into stillness & reconnect to your body.
